Hi! My name is Ainsley Suskey and I’m just as energetic, horse-loving, and wild-spirited as many of you. I started riding lessons at the age of four, and started in endurance at the ripe old age of six. I entered the sport on a little shetland pony named Captain Thunderpants who was just as full of fire and spunk as myself. If only he could have grown with me! I transitioned to a spunky Kiger Mustang mare but eventually felt the “need for speed” after hopping onto an Arabian. Oh, but that was only the start!
At age 14, I started endurance riding at international FEI level events. That’s when I first started riding in Freeforms, as the people I ride for use them! I fell in love with the light, yet durable, and versatile saddles. The sport took me all over North America, including Canada, before I was honored by being selected for the Young Rider World Championships held in Verona, Italy in 2017! The experience was life-changing and gave me a whole new appreciation for these incredible creatures that carry us willingly wherever we ask.
I am currently a freshman in college with plans to major in business management, and I work full time for my parents at Skito Saddle Pads. Outside of work, I am focusing on competing with my Arabians, Nilla and Khasper, at the local level of the sport. I am well known in the midwest endurance riding community but we do travel to events all over. I am beyond excited to be representing Freeform all over the country. Find me to hear and see these amazing saddles in action! Always happy for a riding partner, too!!
