Freeform saddles are beneficial for rider and horse due to functionality, security and comfort that makes trail riding a relaxing experience instead of constant conflict due to either the horse is sore and start acting up or rider has issues with seating, back or other discomforts and enjoying oneself is not an option any longer.
Saddle fit for Dakota was hard to fit for either not wide enough or despite breast straps, saddle always slid back causing her major discomfort which caused her to start prancing to alleviate her discomfort. Freeform saddle along with a fitted skitto pad fit her perfectly and she is more relaxed and calm!
I trust no other saddle to ride with but Freeform due to the safe a secure experience my horse and I now enjoy and look forward to instead of being tense and dreading what should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience with a rider and their horse. My horse now looks forward to getting out and riding with others in a calm and relaxed set of mind. I love the ease of being relaxed and not to mention ease and comfort that I no longer have back issues!

With the benefit of close contact combined with freedom of movement. My horse looks uncomplicated, but is actually quite challenging to fit. She has really big shoulders a large movement which can present a problem with saddle shift. We’ve also had pressure point issues so she has some white hairs where there have been previous fit problems. I think improved comfort would be a great benefit to both of us.

You can’t beat the versatility. I also love that horses with short backs have more options.

Freeform saddles offer numerous benefits to both horse and rider. The Freeform saddle allows the horse full range of motion without impeding the shoulder or elbows. The different girthing options as well as stirrup attachments let you personalize the saddle to fit both you and your horse. The fact that the seat is also designed for ladies is another major point for a more comfortable ride.
I have struggled to find a saddle to fit my very short backed foxtrotter. I have even had saddle fitters come to my barn in an attempt to keep my guy happy, comfortable, and gaiting. I still haven’t found a saddle that fits us both. The saddles all tend to move back as I ride no matter what I do to correct it. I also tend to experience knee pain and lower back pain during our rides.
Winning this saddle would hopefully become a game changer for our long days on the trail. I would love to be able to ride without pain and have my horse be able to use his body correctly gaiting and traversing the trails and arrive at camp pain free at the end of the day.

Freeform saddles are beneficial to horses because it helps alleviate pressure points and provide a more complete and comfortable fit for horses. Freeform saddles are beneficial to riders because they help enhance and promote an ergonomic and natural position in the saddle and they also help create a more natural connection between horse and rider. A proper saddle provides a sense of mind and peace to the rider that can help in overall performance and riding by knowing the rider’s horse is carrying less saddle weight and a more personalized fitting saddle.
Since my mom recently passed, I am riding her Tennessee Walking horse; this horse is and will always be my mom’s pride and joy and childhood dream come true. Unfortunately, my attempts at finding a saddle that will comfortably fit a gaited horse and help with my chronic spine issues has been a daunting task that has felt overwhelming.
Knowing and having confidence that Freeform saddles can help both of us with our unique situations, Jet being a gaited horse, and me with my long term back issues, it is reason for us to ride in comfort and peace in a way to honor and remember my mom during this time and for all of our future rides. The last thing I want is another obstacle in the way for either of us and Freeform saddles remove these obstacles and barriers and open up a path to comfortable riding with no time limits due to discomfort – that is the best gift we could possibly ask for now.

Freeform treeless saddles are a great gap in the market for hard to fit horses. In comparison to other treeless brands, they are also one of the few if not the only brand out there that provides a narrow twist. You don’t have to compromise as an English rider or sacrifice your hips! And the copy cat inexpensive brands out there put no effort into back protection, where Freeform puts it first.
Very prominent withers have been a huge hurdle, and that’s another appeal that Freeform brings to the market. Very knowledgeable endurance riders that ride treeless consistently recommend Freeform for this. He is also gaited so whatever we ride, his shoulder needs full on clearance like a Target aisle after Christmas.
A Freeform would absolutely change the game for me and my friend Cloud. I majorly struggle with hip fatigue, and adding Freeform’s seat would totally get us on the trails for long miles for a long time to come! I would also feel much less stress about wither clearance as I do in my current used treeless saddle, and I just don’t have the financial means to order one new. I really hoped that I could dip my toes in the endurance world, but a well fitted, secure saddle comes first.
All the best, Meg & a unicorn named Cloud 🥰

I could basically cut and paste from all the fantastic and knowledgeable answers for question 1…no need.
The only reason I am entering is because after 8 yrs of looking and trying on SO many many saddles I am still struggling. Hospital visits for me and vet visits for my gelding have been the outcome of saddles that just don’t fit. He is a 16.2 H American Curly. Big boned. Wide but short back. Deep chest. After paying for professional fitters who basically said they were unable to help I’m now riding in another brand treeless that has been fairly right. I do worry about pressure on his spine with this used saddle and it came apart when he spooked recently which sent me flying.
So, benefits are for primarily for him and his wide shoulders and short back and unbelievably patient, but nervous (now) demeanor, well as my own seat comfort and confidence. And the close contact of a treeless is such a major plus.

I purchased my freeform saddle because I saw them being used at Madison Wisconsin Police Department. I am 66 years old and the older you get the more you worry about safety. Falling off, getting kicked off and breaking something you need. I studied the websites, read the reviews. And realized that if your horse is comfortable, has the freedom to move and feel every movement of the rider (regardless of age and ability) you would be more likely to stay in the saddle. Peace of Mind.
So many of us own Cross breeds. So hard to find that saddle that is going to fit. Nothing fits just that Warm Blood, or the Draft. You need that in between size. Good Luck. Either too wide or too narrow. Too Short or too long. Buy pads, more pads, set-back, pressure relief Dura Tech and Ergo-lite…. I have gone through 3 very expensive saddles and my Asa out grew all of them before I could wear them out. Uncomfortable for not only my horse, but to ride for any length of time. It was not comfortable for either one of us.
The Freeform is amazing. Sweat pattern is perfect. My butt is perfect in the saddle. We are both safe, happy and comfortable. When you love your horse more than any one, you want your boy to be happy carrying his precious cargo as well. So we are happy together. Peace of mind not only for myself and Asa, but my husband who always worries about where you are going, what trail are you taking and when are you going to be back? Have your Phone? But with the freeform saddles we all can rest a little bit easier and know “we’ve got this.” Thank you Freeform Saddles. You Make us complete!

I am a 4 H leader and I am 62 yrs old . I have had horses for 50 years . I always wanted to try a treeless saddle . But I was paying for care and treatment of elder horses…
I have had different size horse in my life time and have thought that this sadle would be so helpful to the overall wellness of my horse first and then to me the rider ..
I am now volunteering at a farm that has several elder horses that can benefit from the fit of the saddle and I as an elder rider can benefit also .
Thank you for a possibility of having one of your great saddles.
